David Guetta feat Akon – Play Hard 0 (0)

"Play Hard" is a song by French DJ and record producer David Guetta, featuring vocals from Ne-Yo and Akon, from the re-release of Guetta's fifth studio album, Nothing but the Beat. All three artists co-wrote the song with Frédéric Riesterer and Giorgio Tuinfort, both of whom produced the song with Guetta. Akon's vocals were written and recorded at Sonic Vista Studios in Ibiza in July 2012.[citation needed] The song samples the 1999 Eurodance song "Better Off Alone" by Alice Deejay and "In my Dreams (XXL Remix)" by Noemi. "Play Hard" peaked at number six on the UK Singles Chart, thus becoming his fourteenth top 10 hit in the UK as a lead artist. It also charted within the top 40 of the charts in several other countries. View More David Guetta feat Akon – Play Hard 0 (0)

Justin Jay Friends – Weatherman 0 (0)

“Weatherman” by Justin Jay is one of my favorite songs released in 2016. Justin Jay has revealed Fantastic Voyage (The Album!) with the release of its first track “Weatherman” via Black Butter Records. Justin Jay decided to take a different route in the rollout of his debut album, arranging a mix of singles and EPs to be released on different labels which will eventually come together in its entirety later on. The album itself represents a conduit of exploration, which is reflected in each track’s distinctive sound. View More Justin Jay Friends – Weatherman 0 (0)

OMI – Midnight Serenade (Kungs Remix) 0 (0)

OMI’s been rolling out his ME 4 U remix album in the last few weeks, and I just finally had the chance to check out the entire thing. I’ve blogged about the Bergs and Boehm remixes already, but I just had a chance to check out Kungs’ take on “Midnight Serenade,” and he turns the uplifting dance-pop anthem into a midnight dance party for the ages. The original track is simplicity at its finest – smooth guitar melodies, infectiously catchy pop croons, and just the right touch of percussion – but Kungs takes this tune and turns it into a beautiful mix. Digital Farm Animals – True 0 (0)

Dublin-based producer Jay Pryor is light on information at the moment, but his recent releases have the eyes and ears of many turning towards his newfound sound. His recent remix of Digital Farm Animals’ “True” is no exception as he turns the original single into a piano and bass driven deep house gem. The young producer highlights the song’s deeper components, further enriching it with light-hearted percussion and a swirling piano flairs to bring this track to the forefront.
