MEDIA NAV MN1 4.1.x + MN2 9.1.x or MN3 1.0.13.x DOWNGRADE or RESTORE to factory data

Because there are alot of modifications available on my blog about all the versions of MEDIANAV MN1 + MN2 + MN3 videos, skins , tools, packs, infotainments … somethimes the people that not respecting the procedures or flows finish the updates with a bad results.

For that I offer you the support for downgrade and upgrade again the MEDIANAV to a proper software version as factory data release.

We will start by see what the correct system version of your MediaNav, or MediaNav Evolution and also for MediaNav Evo 2 (android car play) .

The recovery procedure is very simple and is based on some fake upgrades available bellow:

First of all, it is necessary to know the system version. For this it is necessary to go in Setting, then tab System, go down on the second page to go to the menu System version.

Medianav Software (← 2014):

• Version 1.x.x • Version 2.x.x • Version 4.0.x [OBSOLETE VERSIONS]
• Version 4.0.x

Medianav Evolution v1 Software: (2015→2018)

• Version 5.0.x • Version 6.0.x • Version 7.0.x • Version 8.0.x • Version 9.1.1 [OBSOLETE versions]
• Version 9.1.3 • Version 9.1.4 – Different link and story 😉

Medianav Evolution v2 Software: (2019→ )

• Version 1.0.13.2 • Version 1.0.13.1 • Version 1.0.12.8
• Version 1.0.13.3

Installation:

PC Windows Part:

• Click to download the archive.
• Unrar somewhere the template with software “WinRAR/WinZIP”.
  • in the folder you will find:
    • UPGRADE.lgu for MN1 4.1.x + MN2 9.1.X for downgrade and another ones for upgrade
    • “autorun_bavn” + “skin” folder for MN3 1.0.13.3
      • ↑Copy these files with ctrl+c or by windows command:”copy”
• Now you need a USB stick 2.0 or 3.0.
• Format it by “FAT32”.
• Paste directly on the main storage (in no folder) the file that you copied before: ” upgrade.lgu “, from the folder of the template.
• After downgrade you need to redo all the steps also for upgrade √

Car NAVI Part for MN1 4.1.x+ MN2 9.1.x:

• Start the engine on.
• Automatically the media nav starts, if not, just start by button the media nav.
• Insert the USB stick in the input slot from media nav.
• Push on “Update” the media nav when the automatic message is appearing.
• Wait for installing everything, the media nav restarts some times but don’t worry, there is no problem.

Car NAVI Part for MN3 1.0.13.x:

• Insert the USB stick with 2 folders “autorun_bavn” + “skin” in the input slot from the media nav.
• Start the engine on.
• Start the medianav by long pushing POWER BUTTON
• Now the medianav will start, read the USB, Say that is nothing inside
• Wait for 10 minutes
• Now the LGU need to be rebooted by long press of button POWER.
• After that, the interface and the software version it will be changed.

↑Important: Don’t forget to not stop the engine !↑
