In the past I’ve presented to you how to use the micom manager in order to activate some hidden medianav functionalities like eco, 4×4 or BOSE on here :
But with every secret window is coming also some super secret buttons that can destroy your medianav. One of that button is Clear Virgin that can give you the message: System not configured as bellow:
When you are in this moment you have 2 possibilities to solve the issue:
Solving by EcuTweaker or DDT4ALL

Now you need to connect your ELM adapter to the OBD connector of the car as CAN2.
In this way you can used some ordinary wires:
pin14 ELM – connect to pin12 OBD
pin4 – pin4
pin5 – pin5
pin16 – pin16
pin14 ELM – connect to pin12 OBD
pin4 – pin4
pin5 – pin5
pin16 – pin16
Open DDT4all and choose one of the ECU:
ulc_gen1: for the MN1
ulc_gen2: for the MNE
ulc_gen3: new functions for the MNE 8.0.5
ulc_gen4: new functions for the MNE2 (Linux)
Now go to Setting: ECU name-> ULC_gen4_v.1.4 (1.0.13.x)
ECU configuration fills in everything as in the screenshots under the spoiler. I would especially note the item Last Afer Sales Operation Date, instead of zeros, put 01.
All the ecu configurations can be found here:
Click Write All and Reset Hard. The GU will reboot.
The following parameters can be downloaded after the beer from here.
Go to ddt4all and fill in Tuning parameters from the file upstairs↑
Click Write All and Reset Hard.
Voila, a Complete System Configure message appears. The GU will reboot without asking for a pin code with a very nasty sound.
Do not panic and wait for a while. A request for a pin code will pop up. Enter your own.
But it may happen that this is not possible with the cheap ELM327 adapter, since it is not powerful enough to handle several kilobytes of data. In this case, you can use OBDLink.
All values in this file are read from ULC1 (MediaNav Classic), ULC2 (MediaNav Evolution up to 7.0.5), ULC3 (MediaNav Evolution from 8.0.5) and ULC4 (MNE V2 / late 2018).
The rest of the data has not yet been entered.
