Now is time also for helping you to solve the pressure sensors problem by this article? More exactly I will show you how to deactivate the TPMS errors that you may have in the dashboard when you change to winter tires and you have rims without a TPMS sensor.
What version of TPMS I have?
TMPS is from 09/2014 and it seems to be TPMS direct with sensors of the low pressure or big pressure or temperature – the sensors need to be changed physically after the battery of them is dead or is physically is damaged.
TPW is from 11/2015 TPMS and it seems to be indirect (via ABS) and it will warn you only on low pressure and you don’t need to change something.
What does it mean when TPMS light comes on?
The tire pressure monitoring system light, shaped like a horseshoe with an exclamation point in the middle, normally means that you have a tire with low pressure. If you see the TPMS light illuminated, it’s best to stop driving and check the air pressure in each tire.
Why TPMS light on but tires are fine?
The batteries that power TPMS sensors have a lifespan of 6 to 10 years. If they become weak, then a signal interruption will occur. Such a situation will cause the low-pressure warning lights to illuminate. A damage may occur when a substance such as a tire sealant gets into the tire.
How do I get the TPMS light off?
First of all, we need to think about our safety first so it is mandatory to check the status of our tyres before resetting the dash sensors by going to
1st trial is to turn the car key to “on” but don’t start the vehicle. Press and hold the TPMS reset button until the tire pressure light blinks three times. Release the button and start the car. The light should go off within 20 minutes.

If these things are not working or if you have some indirect TPMS sensors that are physically damaged you can deactivate them as bellow part with DDT4ALL:
DDT4all is an open-source program with a friendly graphical interface. With this program and a CAN network with a cheap ELM327 interface, you can access various control devices and change parameters via the OBD interface. For example, functions can be unlocked that are actually withheld from other models (eg comfort indicators, permanent tacho lighting). Using the application in nonexpert mode should not be harmful to your vehicle (leave the expert mode button released)

What will we need, first of all?
- An OBD2 interface ( ELM327 V1.5 mandatory with PIC 18F25K80) compatible, whether it is USB, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, you can read about the versions here
- The correct driver for the interface in case of USB can be Prolific USB – SERIAL and can be download from the LINK
- A laptop PC with Windows (tested with 7 and 10);
- The DDT4ALL software, which you will find(version 5.3.5 updated to 20.01.2019 by Zmiterm) or the official owner Cedricp GitHub release DOWNLOAD LINK HERE for all the DDT4ALL + DACIA database last tested + PYREN and driver necessary for USB ELM OBD SCANNER
- A minimum of computer skills, otherwise it is better to leave it alone …
Once the program is downloaded we need to install it in our PC as we do for any software, then double click on the icon, click on the English language, click again on next, next, at this point we check the box “create an icon on the desktop and then on go ahead, and then install, then finish Now we can get familiar with DDT4ALL trying to modify the various parameters in the “DEMO” version (so we will not change anything and we can do it even without attaching the OBD2 to the machine). Click on the icon that we find on the desktop after its installation. A white window will open that we will leave alone and shortly after another small window with the various connection selection options, we just click at the bottom and center of the box on the word “Demo” (Figure 1).
In the database we will find different types of control unit:
Now, we need to choose our DACIA model car by:
- X90 – Logan SANDERO
- X52 – Logan SANDERO II
- XJI – LOGAN SANDERO III
- X67 – DOKKER
- X67 – DOKKER II
- X92 – LODGY
- X79 – Duster (which corresponds to the first model released, ergo from 201 to 2013);
- X79Ph2 – Duster Ph2 (relative to restyling, ie from 2014 to 2017);
- XJD – Duster II (current model, which is what we will be working on today).
Now after we identify the good ECU name we need to search on about the TDB
TDB CLUSTER → CLUSTER v5.0 → [Cluster /TDB] Cluster v5.0 → General Configuration SCREEN 1 → TPMS_PRESENT → Without TPMS → Push on yellow button TPMS → Push on Prise en compte des configurations
But it seems to not be enough and you need to cancel the TPMS also from ABS :
Choose ABS-ESC v3.8 → [ABS-ESC] ABS ESC v3.8 → 5- TPMS Indirect Function → 51 – TPMS Indirect configuration → TPMS Function inhibition state → DEactivated by diag → Push write TPMS config button
Otherwise you will get ERR PROG on the dashboard !
and also from UCH/BCM :
Choose BCM /UCH → [BCM /UCH] T4 vs BCM DDT v29 or another version →TPMS SYSTEM → TPMS SYSTEM configuration → TPMS_PRESENCE_SSPP + TPMS_RECEIVER_PRESENT→ put 0 on both and send them by pushing the SEND yellow button
