HRDY-cruel summer music

HRDY – Cruel Summer (feat. Malvina)

“Cruel Summer” is a take on the classic Bananarama track which was huge in the 80’s. And it just happens to be one of my favorite pop hits from that era. It can be tricky to re-work an iconic song, but HRDY definitley pulls it off by re-building the layers from scratch and teaming up with the vocalist, Malvina.

Fedde-Le-Grand

Fedde Le Grand and D.O.D – Love’s Gonna Get You (Original Mix)

To long-time electronic dance music fans, Fedde Le Grand has been synonymous with Big Room House since his debut in the early 2000s. Lately, Le Grand has been focused on his new sneaker line, but he clearly hasn’t neglected his music career in the interim. The producer returns with a new single “Love’s Gonna Get You,” and the upbeat track is definitely going to be another mainstage hit.

BLU J – Light Ft. Nevve

The Vancouver/San Francisco due, BLU J, is making a name for themselves in the realms of club and dance music. Their new song “Light” was just dropped on Zed’s Dead’s new DeadBeats label (which looks quite promising). The house groove is on point and tasteful vocals by Nevve are the perfect compliment.

Goldroom – Spread Love

We absolutely love a positive message, especially when conveyed through music, and it appears that ‘Spread Love’ by Goldroom does just that.Goldroom has decided to release the live favourite as a single (featuring vocals by Rooty) and although it edges towards pop more than his former releases, it still offers that signature feel-good dance sound that Goldroom is renowned for.Goldroom said of the release: “My goal for this song was to try and capture the kind of simple earnestness that a lot of early French House had, which was a major inspiration for me.

Alan Walker – Tired (Feat. Gavin James)

Alan Walker has captured the electronic world’s attention over his short time in it with his alluring brand of bass-driven music. His singles, “Alone,” “Faded,” and “Sing Me To Sleep” have gained substantial traction and support from multitudes of producers, thus allowing him to climb the ranks to A-list status by 2017.For his newest release, the producer has paired with vocal powerhouse Gavin James to create a touching composition “Tired.” James offers reassuring verses with his usual emotive approach, while Walker provides moving underlay with pitched-up synth bursts and a simple, yet impactful top line that flows well over the track’s bass-line.“Tired” has already amassed over four million views on YouTube, speaking to the reach and appeal of both artists involved.
